Description:
To provide tender documentation, tender review and provide post contract cost management services for conversion of existing offices & labs to accommodate new administration & teaching facilities.
Key Achievements:
- MPL’s Pre Tender Estimate identified shortfall with client’s budget (established by others). Accuracy of the PTE established to be within 10% of two lowest tenders.
- Detailed Cost Plan enabled the client to establish objective value management identification.
- Prompt tender evaluation & value engineering permitted the project to continue with minimal impact on project programme to meet start of academic year.
