Description:

 

Delivery of Modular Accommodation Contract to provide 8 new classrooms, small hall/studio, library/ITC, staff room and all other associated facilities in a new build extension to enable the school to expand and operate from a 1FE to a 2FE. Further works consisted of the remodelling/alteration and extension of various elements including the main entrance, hard play area and car park.

The contract has been procured as a Two Stage Design & Build Project using a JCT Design & Build 11 Contract form. The tender documents were prepared by MPL, with a schedule of works issued for the internal refurbishment and external works despite limited information and definition being available. This enabled an objective method to review and analyse tenders, offering the client surety on the selection of contractor and budgetary position.
