Description:

 

Delivery of a two classroom extension to Manor Green Primary School and a further education building for Manor Green College within a live special school environment. The works were procured as Design and Build projects under the SCAPE framework on an amended NEC Option A to meet the client’s specific requirements.

MPL led the review of optioneering, validation of contractor cost plans and management of the projects through the SCAPE gateways. Value for money statements, monthly valuations and cost reports were also prepared as the works progressed.

Achievements:

 

  • Delivery of functional buildings to meet specific needs of the special schools and their pupils.
  • Project delivered on programme and undger budget.
  • Good level of communication between the contractor and project team, with the contract completed in the ‘spirit of collaborative working’.
