KCC – Langdon

MPL is providing Quantity Surveying services for the replacement of an end-of-life Modular Classroom at Langdon Primary School. The works, which were procured on the Clients’ own Construction Partnership Framework, were let under a NEC PSC for Pre-Construction and design activities followed by a NEC ECC Option A for the Construction Phase. The delivery of new modular accommodation provides a replacement School Hall, with integrated Kitchen and Servery, two classrooms and ancillary accommodation. All works on site were facilitated by the adoption and use of Temporary classrooms whilst the existing accommodation and several air raid shelters in close proximity were demolished. The site, which is particularly constrained, is due to complete in readiness for occupation Summer 2025.
