Case Study: New City College – Retender Exercise
Following challenges in reaching an agreement on terms with the contractor responsible for the PCSA during the RIBA Stage 4 design, MPL proposed a revised procurement strategy. This new approach leveraged the InTend portal, offering a cost-effective, self-managed, and PCR-compliant route to market.
The open tender process proved successful, attracting competitive bids from all participating contractors. As a result, the project is progressing well and is now just four months from completion, with occupation scheduled for September 2025.
