St Mary’s University – Centenary Building

MPL are acting as Quantity Surveyor to St Mary’s University for the redevelopment of ‘R Block’, with the existing building being demolished to provide a new Medical Teaching provision. The new provision, which will include teaching accommodation, a Lecture hall, Anatomage suite and Clinical Teaching ward, looks to provide a new teaching stream within the University. The Building, designed to achieve BREEAM Excellent, has a striking façade of brick faced GRC, Aluminium cladding panels and curtain walling. MPL have provided cost advice to the Client from RIBA Stage 2 to date, with works now on site and complete in readiness for teaching to commence Summer 2026.
