Nexus School

MPL have been appointed by our Client, Kent County Council, to provide Quantity Surveying services for the additional provision required at Nexus School. The School, which provides a range of SEND Provision but primarily for young people with profound, severe and complex needs, many of whom are on the Autistic Spectrum, will expand with 4nr new Classrooms and 1nr specialist teaching classroom, as well as SEND specific ancillary spaces such as calm rooms and small group rooms.

The project, which is looking to deliver a standalone building that matches the form and palette of the existing building, is due for delivery and occupation in the 2026/2027 Academic year. MPL are currently overseeing the Main Contractor, appointed under the Clients Construction Partnership Framework on a NEC4 PSC Option A, to ensure that costs provided through the Pre-Construction phase are interrogated, validated and agreed as the project progresses through the Client Gateways.
